About me

Andrés Ocazionez is a Jungian analyst, training analyst, and supervisor with a private practice in Berlin. Andrés is a graduate from the C.G. Jung Institute Zürich and has received a cum laude recognition for his doctoral work "The Psychology of Analytical Training". In addition to his clinical work, he is a certified instructor at the C.G. Jung Institute Zürich, international lecturer, researcher, supervisor, and training analyst.

My Approach

I love my profession. I like to think of depth psychological work as a highly complex and creative field, almost an art form. Like art, I believe that psychological work demands sensibility, respect, trust, persistence, and a good sense of humor. Every dream, symptom, or life situation is from the outset a psychological interpretation, a creative artifact, a statement, a theory. It is through our commitment to the uniqueness of each soul phenomenon that its depth has a chance to come out to light, to reach us, and to unfold. I find that a depth psychological approach, by acknowledging the uniqueness of each person and each psychic situation, facilitates an effective and creative approach to the highly complex and often painful dynamics of our inner world. I offer a responsible and qualified commitment to psychological work in the form of in-person or online services to English and Spanish speakers.
